Vision Machine Incubator ("Incubator," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information, especially recognizing the heightened importance of privacy for neurodivergent individuals and founders who may share sensitive information during the application and participation process.This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal data when you:

  • Apply to or participate in our incubator Program
  • Interact with us via email, events, mentorship sessions, or other communications
  • Use facilities, Equipment, or resources provided by the Incubator

  • Neurodivergence-Related Information: Self-attestation or documentation regarding neurodivergence (e.g., autism, ADHD, dyslexia), only when voluntarily provided and necessary for eligibility or accommodations
  • Professional and Business Data: Start-up name, stage, description, pitch deck, business plan excerpts, team composition, leadership roles
  • Financial and Equity Data: Cap table information, incorporation documents (to the extent necessary for equity stake verification)
  • Demographic Data (optional): Gender, ethnicity, age range, location (for diversity tracking and reporting, aggregated only)
  • Communication Data: Records of emails, meeting notes, mentorship feedback, application forms, surveys

Automatically Collected Data

  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type/version, operating system, device information, pages visited, time/date of access, referral source
  • Usage Data: Interactions with our website, application portal, event attendance

From Other Sources

  • Publicly available information about your Start-up (e.g., website, Crunchbase, LinkedIn)
  • References or third-party recommendations (with your consent)

We do not collect special category data (sensitive personal data under GDPR/CCPA) beyond neurodivergence-related information that you voluntarily provide for Program eligibility or accommodations. We treat such information with the highest level of care.


3. How We Collect Personal Data

  • Directly from you (application forms, emails, meetings, contracts)

  • From third parties (with your consent): references, public databases, co-hosts of events


4. How We Use Your Personal Data


We use personal data for the following purposes:

  • To evaluate and process applications to the Program
  • To administer and deliver the incubator Program (mentorship matching, accommodations, event invitations, access to Equipment/facilities)
  • To manage our 10% equity stake (legal and administrative purposes)
  • To provide neurodivergent-friendly accommodations and support
  • To communicate with you about the Program, updates, opportunities, and alumni network
  • To improve our services, website, and Program (analytics, feedback)
  • To comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax, corporate governance, anti-money laundering if applicable)
  • To protect our rights, safety, and property (fraud prevention, dispute resolution)
  • Aggregated/anonymized data for impact reporting, grant applications, or diversity statistics


5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR / Applicable Laws)

  • Contractual necessity — for providing the Program services and managing equity agreements
  • Legitimate interests — improving our Program, networking introductions, analytics (balanced against your rights)
  • Consent — for optional data (e.g., marketing communications, sharing contact info with partners)
  • Legal obligations — compliance with corporate, tax, or equity laws
  • Explicit consent — for processing neurodivergence-related data (special category data)

  • With co-hosts or sponsors of specific events (with notice/consent where required)
  • With potential investors or partners during Demo Days or introductions (with your explicit consent)
  • In aggregated/anonymized form for reporting or marketing our impact

  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell personal data.
